Zombie Rollerz - A Rougelike Pinball Game
Gaming PC is in the living room for gaming and media center.
Laptop in my office up stairs for programming and I use Steam Remote Play for games that require keybmouse. Its nice because I can just unplug it from my dock and head downstairs with it if I want to browse on the couch.
I have a tablet too, but that’s used solely for movies, YouTube, or when I’m DMing because the footprint is smaller.
Yeah, it felt nice to play, but after dumping 8 hours into it two weeks ago I can’t even remember what a single enemy looks like.
Thanks for taking the time to reply. The tutorial sections did absolutely put me off the first time, but I saw flashes of brilliance after I got over that hump. Definitely gonna give it another go after the Helldivers rush wears off.
Man I WANT to love Horizon. It seems exactly like my type of game. But everytime I play it everything feels… insincere? Idk something about it doesnt hit. Still paid for it day one when it came to PC though to support the cross platform Sony initiative.
Would love some Lemmy input on this as well
Ive generally always agreed with the former comment, but I’ve heard this argument a few times and it does demonstrate the disconnect well. I’ve switched it up to a simple y’all.
fucking got me, good one
A new platformed to sink my teeth into. Im casually optimistic, but I have no attachment to the series, so I hope it lands well.
I actually use the ergo keyboard pictured in the thumbnail and I actually really like it. Not love, but for WHF CAD drafting its fantastic.
Like its all plastic build quality, and the buttons arent fantastic, but man is the built in wrist rest and the endless amount of availible keys It does its job great.
I hope they can maybe introduce higher quality materials, but I wont hold my breath. Overall this is a net positive buts its so weird how willing Microsoft is to cook up full products and axe official support seemingly randomly.
holy shit great point
I use my PC as a media machine in my living room. I absolutely use both. Twitch has the culture, while YouTube has the better video player.
Most importantly, just watch the streamer you want to watch live on the platform they choose.
I pay for YouTube premium so no ads there, and adblock works wonders for me and I don’t see ANY ads on twitch.
Would someone? Yes.
Unfortunately its way too similar to my day to day work for me to enjoy.
Thank you for the source!!
Thats a good point. Maybe a bit of preemptive planning so if am incident in the future occurs they can simply point to this and say we tried.
Multireddits were a GODSEND
Such a good answer and game
Side note, I have such mixed feelings on HP. I have only anecdotal things to say, so please keep that in mind!
I bought a budget HP Pavilion back in 2020, for a similar reason to you, because of the Ryzen setup. It sees use 4-5 times a week. And I have to say… I love it.
The build quality is, in my opinion, outstanding for a budget ($600) laptop. Its metal, solid, with almost no noticable keyboard flex. It feels so much better than both Dells my wife and I use for work. And the keyboard is actually my favorite of all the boards in my house.
My family has always had new tech coming in and out of the house and one of the longest lasting devices we had was an HP 2-In-1.
I don’t support their scummy software practices (shoutout brother printers). But for the most part every piece of HP tech I’ve bought has been average or above. But online they’re somewhat universally panned. Its interesting.
Anywhere my pets are. Without my dog I wouldnt have made it through college. The off leash dog park was our stress free zone.
Sorry things feel overwhelming right now. Especially when you’re doing the right thing, reaching out. You got this.
