Games are games, retirees play all kinds of shit including shooters. Its silly to assume they need to be marketed specifically to a certain group

I liked factory town; the trains need to stop and stations to unload and refuel, and they only go one direction. Its somewhat simplified but satisfying.

As if i needed another reason to think Meryl Streep was a badass

Hypernormalization
I get the impression the author is either being deliberately obtuse to prove their point, or has a difficult time engaging critically with media. Creating a strawman fake game about dancing (which only exists in the author’s mind) to criticize for only being about dancing is not substantive critique.
Celeste’s gameplay absolutely has narrative meaning as well. You are climbing the mountain of depression. Not the most subtle or complicated metaphor, but it’s there and it is effective.

Awesome devs have the free version waiting for you, and other less puritanical storefronts to pay them some money if you liked it.

The main draw of the fediverse for me is not being a product for a company to sell to the highest bidder.

Companies will rob the graves of musicians and actors and say they are “appearing.”
Well, media is “appearing” in my hard drive a lot more these days.

Also a reminder that Alan Moore’s choice of Guy Fawkes was intentionally ironic… or at least thats how I interpreted it

Can’t help but feel the doomsayers of AI are the least knowledgeable about its capabilities. No mention of model collapse, LLM memory ceilings, the massive infrastructure and resource cost of scaling AI… It’s not the future if it’s not sustainable. We just have to wait until the normies wake up from their dream.

Take that shit above her head. Tell her boss that unpaid overtime is theft and you may have to take action outside the company if it continues. Be reasonable, offer solutions like: I can make you a list of my daily taks and how long they take so you dont over-budget time. But dont continue to engage your direct report, she is trying to show you your place and its time to show her’s
Every player is different, every DM is different. Thats why communication at the top is important, if you want to get heavily in to character and roleplay a detective mystery in the tavern, let your DM know that.

Lol and do what with the info? Fast food service has insane turnover already due to employees making shit wages and being treated horribly by managers and customers alike. So you’ve already preselected for employees that dont give a FUCK about anything.

I really shouldn’t laugh at this, but sometimes you have to laugh to keep from crying.
Deathloop was clearly rushed, but I still loved the gameplay and freedom to tackle things in many ways. It needed more time and money to meet the ambition of its design, and it was an early warning sign of the state of Arkane.

Losing can be fun!
More or less yeh
