Or people who sign up on a message board with a deliberately extreme username and post highly insulting essays about entire groups of ppl. Just blocked one of those yesterday, in fact.

No. You are much more likely to get norovirus on a cruise ship. If you spend a lot of time in barns where there are a lot of mice/rats and a lot of dust, you might want to consider wearing a respirator. Otherwise your average person is not going to encounter hantavirus.

I don’t think it’s depression—these are people who make a point of being buttheads. Responses like: “So what?” “If only you could look that up yourself…” “Yes, you’re the only one…” “No, nobody else does that” “Yes you’re the asshole” in response to everything. I don’t think they’re depressed—I think they’re deliberately being assholes. There are people on reddit who seem to be trying to get the lowest karma count they can.
