Vor allem, da die selben Forscher, die zu den Unterschieden zwischen männlichen und weiblichen Hirnen forschen auch sagen, dass die Hirne von Trans-Frauen von Geburt an eher weiblich sind (und von Trans-Männern entsprechend eher männlich). Hirnphysiologie ist also eher ein Argument für die Aufnahme von Trans-Frauen.

Sure, but people were really mad earlier this year because Wizards of the Coast, the company that owns D&D tried to pull some licencing related shenanigans that would have massively fucked over the community. People were boycotting the movie a couple of months ago over that. It’s interesting, that Baldurs Gate seems to not be affected by this at all.

And thanks to activityPub there is interoperability between services. I only have a Mastodon account, but I can follow people on pixelfed without problem. It moves the focus back onto communicating rather than being on the platform

Kind of both. You get to decide who you federate with but deciding who ferdarates with you is opt out. By default your server doesn’t know any other server. But you can search for communities on other instances by taking the url of the community on the other instance and entering it into the search field. This way the other server gets indexed by your server and after that federation is automatic
E-Mail is a federated standard, so in that sense every mail provider is part of the fediverse.

Izzyondroid (the weird 90s looking store) can be used with the (or any) fdroid client. You just have to add the repository in the settings. Fdroid builds all the apps from source themselves. You need to add a request for packaging and even after that it takes a bit of time until the app is approved. It seems nobody has requested the inclusion yet. Izzy on the other hand takes the developer build binaries and publishes. The requirements are lower to be included here. So apps tend to be in izzy first and then get eventually added to fdroid proper.
