Lifeguards hate this one trick
The movie Brazil features a literal bug in a system as a plot device.
This one seriously made adult me very uneasy.
Simpsons also, a bit, iirc.
Not a bad trip. Funnily enough, DD is probably one of the few things I haven’t read yet. I probably started work cat’s cradle (pretty late).
I don’t think I’ve found amazing things recently. Things worth using and things better than the alternative and things that are promising to maybe one day be great, yes.
But I’ll single out one little thing: dust. https://github.com/bootandy/dust
Dust is meant to give you an instant overview of which directories are using disk space without requiring sort or head. Dust will print a maximum of one ‘Did not have permissions message’.
Dust will list a slightly-less-than-the-terminal-height number of the biggest subdirectories or files and will smartly recurse down the tree to find the larger ones. There is no need for a ‘-d’ flag or a ‘-h’ flag. The largest subdirectories will be colored.
It’s like a killer combination of du and sort oneliners that actually shows me what I want to know: What’s the big stuff in this dir.
Depends on the machine and… maybe other things. I used to think that, too, but on my current machines I can step backwards just fine.
It’s probably a much more intensive operation requiring processing a lot of the file from before and throwing away current buffers or something.
As a post this contains nothing but a headline and a link. It is a bad post unless you’re only interested in the link. There isn’t even any relevant discussion or comment from OP.
Gadgets are cheap.
I was mumble-something before there was an independent Montenegro.
It does have that ring to it, like Montevideo. I think what helps me is I heard so much once about Serbia and Montenegro that it’s kind of become an association path to former Yugoslavia.
Always have been, always are. They’ve just realized there will be less noise if you don’t plant too many flags or draw new maps when you invade.
My guesses are clog (99% of all extrusion problems), heater problem, wrong filament diameter or broken extruder (check for slipping and cracked arm, spring etc).
I don’t know if twerking helps, but it doesn’t hurt to try.
Speculative fiction is generally a better term to avoid quibbling over details. The speculative step is the important defining thing in any case.
Or one gets the hose again.
Lots of them do like to flock with other racists, though. And follow racist speech online. It’s kind of an emergent club in a way.
Depends on if it’s quality content or spam/noise. A “power poster” can pretty much define which of these the whole area appears to be to a reader.
Ban the noise and spam. Support and encourage good posts and discussion.
