Not sure what you mean, this is what sync looks like for me on a big screen. Hardly tablet friendly.
Connect looks much better for me
Connect for Lemmy is basically Sync free. It’s got the same swipe gestures and everything. I’m not sure what people are so blown away by.
Mastodon/Fed Twitter integration. You can post on a Lemmy community, tag a hashtag and it becomes a microblog (tweet) at the same time. But upvoted and downvotes are public on kbin. So depends what you want.
And in the long run we’ll see if kbin can keep up with the Twitter like software on the Twitter side and if it can keep up with Lemmy for reddit features at the same time. Like Lemmy can focus purely on meeting Reddits features then passing them. Kbin has to worry and work on both.
Same, my favorite subs to actually engage with are the game specific subs but they don’t exist here. But idk what the responsibilities of making a community is just yet. I don’t want to be sole moderator of a sub I traditionally loved just shit posting in.
Only certain servers allow users to make communities. I think Beehaw doesn’t allow users to make communities without approval or something. Not 100%. I’m on Lemmy.World and they let anyone make communities so I could make one now. (And I’m debating making entry points for some of my favorite subs that aren’t here yet despite not having much content to post to them at this time)
This happens so many times. I’m a pretty firm believer in walking away for 15 minutes is a crucial part of the debugging process. It’s just hard sometimes to know when to stop and stop trying shit for a bit.
Also rubber duck debugging, I’ll talk to my dog but fuck it works so many times. Shes helpful.
