The image on the left is not the same as the other two, clear because Zelenskyy is on the other side in the images to the right. And what does this have to do with nazis? I see a spider tattoo, a sickle, and some letters. None of those are nazi/fascist iconography.
This should be posted to lemmys version of “useless red circle” or “anti-ukranian propaganda”

Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•What's your favorite Jim Henson puppet/practical effect?
14·1 month agoI was going to say Farscape! Glad to see it was your example :)
What is your goal here? To convince people Big Canal is lying?
If its to point out how the press can lie, or officials can lie, there are MANY verifiable examples you can use.
If its to say this specific death is suspicious then you are not being effective by only saying “well other people havent drown in similar depths”
Find more compelling evidence/details or get better examples.
The silver lining of this is that now when I do see ads I am instantly angered by them. So I have a new kind of immunity, hatred for marketing
One of the criticisms of being raised in a specific faith is that the children do not choose their faith, they are already in it.
So being raised by an atheist and then choosing a religion would carry more weight and meaning because it was a conscious decision made deliberately by that person.
Im not against data centers, that’s mostly where the internet runs from. Im against AI data centers though

Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•People without college degree, what do you do?
3·2 months agoI did like 1 semester at a community College and dropped out. I did tech support for web hosting companies for a little, moved to sales, realized im bad at sales but could understand servers etc better than sales guys so I became whats know as a sales engineer (the role has different titles at different companies, but its like the technical consultant that works with a sales rep to close deals) and did that for like 11 years. Now I do account mgmt for another tech company and make solid money.
I do regret ditching college but not for the degree as much as the overall experience.

Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•When do you think middle class people will be able to go to mars?
91·3 months agothe billionaires will need a slave class so probably as soon as going to mars is viable at all. Id think an earth middle class is a martian slave class
A turtle is not a planet, hope that helps!
Also, just to be clear: The earth is round. This is a proven fact. You must first understand this or the entire premise of your question fails.
“Wouldnt it be the same?” Yes, because of gravity ‘down’ is towards the earth and ‘up’ is away from earth. So anywhere on earth you are ‘up’ is away from the planet and into space

Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•Agree or disagree? A lie by omission is still a lie.
271·3 months agoOmission can be a lie as long as the intent is to deceive. Thats an important element to making something a lie
You are just promoting defeatist attitude and offering nothing else. “Get creative” how about you get a backbone and say what you mean besides “stop voting”
“Voting is worthless”
Okay, then what? Just stop trying?
Both of them did that tho right?

Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•Has anyone actually eaten or diped OREO with Milk
9·3 months agoAnd the best method is not just dip and eat, but to hold the cookie in the milk for a bit so it absorbs the milk
I started in basic overnight support centers. Certs are big so getting basic ones in your field can be important, but they arent always easy or cheap to obtain. I started with real basic/low level certs that arent really favored by recruiters but are important for actually learning: Network+ and Server+ as my job was focused on websites and servers at the time. Eventually I moved on to Cloud focused certs for AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud because by that time I was supporting those cloud platforms.

Shes blue but Ill let it slide because Farscape memes are rare
