Down on the upside
Also zeppo@lemmy.world. Not a lot of Zeppos out here.
Down on the upside
I’ve had similar realizations about words like “across” and “again”.
How else would one interpret it?
Crouton Cannon
Glade Plugins
The problem for me is the blaring, irritating, repetitive ads. I guess anything without that would be fine.
Yeah, I saw a few intepretations:
Yes, but the problem is they replaced it with BPS which is basically the same, but less tested.
Why not just play videos on your computer?
I told a bartender “oh, the pleasure was all ours!” one time just sort of joking around and he said “you have no idea how much”. I wasn’t really sure how to take that.
I grew up saying “you’re welcome” but I don’t interpret “no problem” that way at all. It’s never occurred to me even. I tend to say more “oh, of course!” or “hey anytime” though.
That’s a bit of an exaggeration. I suppose, if you went in a circle or got stuck in traffic, but at an avg of 50mph 40 hours would be 2000 miles. Texas isn’t that large. It could take about 20 hours to get across though.
I assume like an alligator or crocodile. Probably depends if it’s a carnivore or herbivore too
We called it static.
I meant how Facebook chose a different logo than the commonly accepted one.
That’s the problem, they’ve changed the logo in part to make it more welcoming to Patriot Dog Mommy 🇺🇸✝️
It’s slightly askew, so neutral in the Pentacle-Pentagram spectrum. That wouldn’t matter to “PATRIOT DOG MOMMY 🇺🇸🇺🇸✝️🇺🇸🇺🇸 MAGA 2024” on Facebook though. Obviously Satan.
It also looks kinda like a pentagram, which might not work given some of their userbase.
Yeah, that is pretty different. I assumed it was similar from “can’t eat solid food” but I never felt turned off from food, I’d just feel incredibly awful after eating so I stopped eating. Tried surviving on a bunch of different semi-liquid things before I found something that worked. I got medically underweight before gaining some back, and the weight loss was kind of a bonus after I felt better. People I knew told me “wow, you look great!” and I was like uh, thanks… funny how being dramatically unhealthy made people think I was more healthy.
Well, hopefully Mayo manages to find you some answers!
Hopefully it’s straightforward, and best wishes! Enjoy your radioactive sandwich!
“A gain” as in one more. Gain meaning “an increase in amount”
