I have a litter robot 3 and it’s great. It was costly but I’ve probably already made a significant amount back on litter cost. The cats took some time to get used to it and one of them refused without adding a set of steps to get in but all in all they seem happy 18months later.

There are still handicaps in place to make sure at least some women make it to the finals but after that there are no handicaps. At this point, even if they removed all the handicaps there would still be women that reach the finals, just not as many. It’s been very interesting to watch.
The announcers still try to hype up the women’s achievements but at this point most of the big barriers have been broken. They’ve had to resort to stuff like, “if she gets a buzzer here she’ll be only the second mom to get a buzzer in qualifying!”. It’s kind of silly at this point.
Second story is easily handled by someone in good physical shape but it’s super easy to fuck it up and break a bone or twist something.
That said, my 35 year old uncle literally lost his balance standing on flat ground, hit his head, and died within a couple minutes. Just like drowning in six inches of water, a fall from any height can be fatal if you fuck it up badly enough.

Social safety net programs are fine but unless they’re universal they’ll inevitably create benefit cliffs which punish people for making more money. They also cost money to administer. UBI is super cheap and easy to administer: if you’re a citizen you get a check or deposit every month. Simple. You could probably manage the entire operation with less than 1000 people.

For sci fi, Run Lola Run is a fun 90s era take on how small changes in starting conditions results in big changes for different timelines.
For comedy, I’ll always recommend Grandma’s Boy. It’s a stoner comedy that focuses on a game developer and has a strong cast. It’s from Adam Sandler’s studio so you’ll see a lot of familiar faces, but not Sandler.
For animated, try The Fantastic Mr. Fox. Great cast, Wes Anderson asthetic without being too twee, and a great script.

I agree. Mos Def and Zooey Deschanel really didn’t pull their weight. Zaphod with only one head nearly the entire time was lame. The whole thing felt too “American” to me.
