    there’s a movie by and with Elliot Page that has the exact scenario of a trans man visiting his family as main plot ^^

    there is also “Pride” - which shows queer characters from ehrm, 70ties? and shows iirc working class people forming the very first pride in their working class town

    both movies show emotions and queer issues as part of the main plot but have a storyline to follow that is - in theory - part of almost every humans lifetime experiences (coming home as a changed person/trying to change society)
