This is one reason it is so wild that corporations in the US are entitled to “free speech” (in the form of spending) after the Citizens United decision. They get benefits as if they were a person, but far fewer of the natural restrictions.

RDR2 was a beautiful game and one of the few that gave me a serious emotional response at the end. But it was a bit long winded along the way, so I’m OK with this.
Sounds like they want a round of layoffs but don’t want to pay severance.
The US has a problem of representation. Specifically and especially since the Citizens United decision, corporate interests can easily flow money towards politicians to make them do just about anything they want. This exacerbated an existing problem with the corporate tax rate and has now brought it into laughably low territory.
That’s all an oversimplification of course, but it’s not that Americans haven’t “figured it out”. It is far more complicated than that.
Yes, and he still lost handedly. That extra time was all rambles and nonsense. I think in the end it was better.
(Yes, I still would have preferred they muted him, ultimately).
So… an actual documentary with facts instead of a conservative puff piece?
Huge, HUGE red flag. Even without it being I9 stuff.
I have worked remotely for 8+ years at this point. Sometimes I don’t even turn my camera on for meetings. It depends on a lot of factors. If my employer cared about any of that, they probably wouldn’t be a good employer for remote work.
I’d say less stupid and more shortsighted. If the cost of DVDs were to have stayed high for, say, 10+ years, then I could see getting a user base for DIVX and having at least moderate success.
But a giant tech retailer of all things should be aware that new tech tends not to stay prohibitively expensive for too long.
I appreciate that. I probably should have put a /s tag on it.
I don’t pronounce them at all, because that would require friends in the real world
What is it with Burger King today?
The amazing thing is you don’t have to watch them
I’d really like to see more discussion about Linux.
(I’d put a /s, though I personally wouldn’t actually mind it, but here’s the /s)
“Presidential business, Jack”
Try a strategy title with the pads, in particular something like Civ, where there is no time limit. Right pad works fantastic as a mouse replacement. Left pad is always kind of just there, though it can be useful as a radial menu if you use the configurator (albeit that makes more sense on Steam Controller since the pads are round).
Came here to say this. I use mine almost every day, specifically for titles that don’t have controller support.
While I do prefer a twin-stick like the DualSense for games with support, you cannot at all beat a Steam Controller for strategy gaming from the couch. I’m still on my first, but have two as backup (it was limit 2 when Valve offloaded them for $5 each).
I’m sure inflation has affected that too
With other industries, owning 5, 10, 15 other sites might be indicative of a monopoly. But there is a metric fuckton of porn online.
Edit: pardon me, a *metric fucktonne
The only honest answer in the whole thread
