This is nice! Just started watching BBC Nature.
This is cool!
Note to folks: you can zoom in with the mousewheel if you’re on desktop.
Hey I’m old too!
I’d guess that the majority of the initial users for this site will also be old folks who remember the old days before the internet was essentially owned by a handful of major corporations with the same handful of billionaires trying to profit off of ever single digital interaction we have with the internet.
Shit, I remember when there weren’t even ads on the internet. And I appreciate OP–it truly did feel like a treasure hunt, and there was actual treasure tucked away into so many little corners.
I have a great deal of respect for the warez folks online who burrow into premium software and dig out the license calls so that the rest of us can install high-end software on our systems without paying for it at all.
I’m happy to financially support independent software developers with great ideas, and I absolutely love stealing software from companies that charge exorbitant ‘subscription’ now-you’ll-pay-us-forever prices (and then still show you ads and farm your data for AI).
Steal software! Steal what you need! It’s not only good for you, but ultimately will be good for everyone.
p.s. anyone who’s getting annoyed by the ads should download the ublock origin and Privacy Badger plugins for their browsers.
Interesting information!
Yes, I love that movie. Great science fiction and somehow always seems to remain relevant.

It is about communication.
WILL YOU SACRIFICE YOUR OWN DESIRES TO MEET THE OBJECTIVES OF THE OWNERSHIP?! YOUR OWN LIFE IF NEED BE?! THE HIERARCHY IS LISTENING AND WILL JUDGE YOU ACCORDINGLY.

Well I just got a wave of nostalgia crashing on my head.
