I got the classic thaks to gog having a review system. I am somewhat excited to try out this legendary game and see what the buzz is about.

I shopped around gog and found xiii, street racing stndicate, underrail and alan wake. I started ubderrail and ive been getting clobbered by everyone but its fun. I play it on deck and pc, using heroic to sync saves.

I think homm 2 or 3 falls there.

My family prefers 110c but i prefer around 90c as i want to relax and not tryhard.

After watching it i find it very contemporary since the entire story is about usa and russia discovering they both love genocide.

I felt the same way where nothing that made Annihilation great was present in the Gorge. The gorge was incredebly generic action film with some art direction by some people who just discovered beksinsky. Unlike Anihillation, the ecology didn’t feel like it made any sense. It rather felt like bunch of loose parts thrown into a box pretending to be a system. Alongside of myriad of other lazily done details that showed they really didn’t care about this movie.

A bear. They are just adorable and silly and cute until they eat you completely for no reason.

I’ll give it a watch. I Annihilation was such a wonderful mix of music and visuals

EDIT: it was the annihilation we have at home: the blum house version. Except blum house nowadays manages to have clever plots. Not too terrible but definelty one of those “oh shit theres another hour to go” movies.

I don’t think its as much as microsoft lost its just that all the consoles are the same, and pc and steam deck by extension plays all the games anyway for cheaper.

I agree there are problems that could be fixed and need more publicity but they are far from evil.

Sure it would be nice if measures were put in place to stop underage gambling but basically everything with not guranteed rewards and rng is underage gambling. Claw machines. Coin operated ball dispensers. Pokemon cards. Literal gambling kids can do irl. Lootboxes in other games. Mojang running literal real money casinos in minecraft. As an underage I just sold valve “evil lootboxes” and used it to buy games I could’t have otherwise.
