It helps them sell their own ideology as a solution for people’s woes, if they can convince people their problems are caused by the designated scapegoats. It effectively distracts people from the plunder of their lives by rich kleptocrats, while filling them with the kind of misdirected hatred that fascism thrives on.

The intel said that Iran was not developing nuclear weapons. The strikes happened because Trump decided to ignore the intel in favor of the random imaginings in his head, and no doubt Netanyahu encouraged him.

Tech media, including music and photography tech, is one big advertisement and the industry serves itself, not you. This usually doesn’t dawn until you’ve bought some of the things the journalists get breathless about and discovered that the gear is OK but not earth shattering, and you still have the same creative challenges as before.

So the non-private pooing is actually continuous with American moral puritanism. That makes sense.
All you need to know is that toilet stalls in the USA (and Canada) have huge gaps around the doors, unlike other countries. You have to carefully position your head so you’re not making accidental eye contact with people outside, and somehow relax knowing everyone can see you taking a shit.
As a man, can I just say that I have never enjoyed peeing shoulder to shoulder with other men.

Rust’s compiler is more picky than most, but is really impressive in how it explains the errors and advises on how to fix them. It’s a really good feature of Rust.
An Acorn Atom with 2KB of RAM because 12KB was too expensive. Good little computer, and the journey from the tiny Acorn Computers company to today’s ARM processors is a pretty amazing one.
It usually works, but it takes a few minutes to reprocess the files if your project or solution is big.
