Pretty sure sun isn’t good for the skin, sun exposure without adequate protection just increases cancer risk, especially sunburns. It is good for mental health though, but you should still avoid exposing uncovered skin without sunscreen - it’s an unfortunate balance where you might have to harm your body to a limited degree because our brains are wired to enjoy it.
As a non-german-speaker, I feel like I get plenty of good laughs out of ich_iel. I only feel like I’m missing out on some of the best posts.
I think I saw a video mentioning they are illegal in some places, showing just why they’re so dangerous
I’m not clear on the details, but I know the constellations are made out of stars, I think planets like mars were thought to be major stars, and I’d think sayings like “the stars aligned” would have roots in astrology…
I will also nitpick and say that they said astrology terms, specifically - if astrology considers constellations to be important, and acknowledges they are made out of stars, I’d imagine stars would be part of the terminology. (Doubly so if I’m correct about astrology having (at least previously) a skewed view on what a star is!)
Well, in this case all of those are astrology too as far as I know, and that might be more fitting for a fantasy world
This is from before my times, but… Deploying an app by uploading a pre built bundle? If it’s a fully self-contained package, that seems good to me, perhaps better than many websites today…
Just a guess, but I see URLCheck freaking out on my side, probably because the H in https is capitalized. Maybe try https://slrpnk.net/?
By the way, for editing server files consider nano. It’s also widely available, has simpler shortcuts and displays them on the screen. It’s obviously not powerful like vim, but a good match when you just need to edit a config file.
I don’t think that’s a valid criticism, I don’t see death saying that, it’d be more like “Your time has come” - to contrast it further, wouldn’t somebody say “It’s your time to shine”?
I think CSS animations are enough, no JS needed
Ah, that makes sense, thanks! I haven’t heard of the term before so it threw me off-guard.
I think that’s least common multiple, as opposed to the greatest common denominator.
By that logic, any sorting implementation is O(1), as the indexing variable/address type has limited size
If I may shill for a moment, that’s something I like about sublime merge - the buttons mostly map to git commands, and it has a nice log showing the commands it ran and their output.
Another counterpoint: When you start implementing all that dummy proofing, you make the software more and more tedious to work with for people who know what they’re doing.
I think it’s quite obviously an issue that needs balance. Some software is meant to be seamless to get started with, so that users can get something done once in a while, some software is meant to be used long-term by professionals and requires productivity. And yet, many people jump on anything they don’t immediately understand as bad UX.

Cleverly cheesing rules is up to the game master’s discretion, while transforming into a whale sounds like a very reasonable, if overpowered, interaction, the peasant rail gun wouldn’t fly in most campaigns. Not that it makes it any less hilarious.
From the first link, sounds like what the other reply said - vitamin D is important (but can be gotten from other sources), and I failed to mention it. Sorry. That said, it also recommends wearing a hat, and using sunscreen when outside for longer periods of time.
I unfortunately can’t read the second link without agreeing for them to sell my data, so that’s a nope.
