I’m sorry for your loss.
I’m sorry for your loss.
Driving used to stress me out, but you honestly just get used to it. Your brain just autopilots 90% of it once you’ve been driving over a year or so.
The 90% autopilot frees up your brain to focus on the big picture of what’s happening. You’ve just gotta be careful you don’t slip to like 95% autopilot where you’re not paying attention anymore.

Wait…
You can’t polish a turd.
Well when the alternative is Bing quality search results, Google still has a slight edge.
That gap is closing by the day tho.
Hopefully they make it a trilogy for absolutely no fucking reason /s
I’ve signed it, looking forward to the nonchalant dismissive response from the government.
Are there actually photogenic people who look worse on video or irl?
If they’re photogenic surely they just look good all the time, I can’t think of any examples of photogenic looking worse on video.
I do wonder if neurodiversity awareness will be the next big “thing”, like LGB awareness was, then transgender awareness.
Not to say those other issues disappear at all, but mainstream culture seems to focus on one main “thing” at a time and I don’t think neurodiversity has really had the spotlight yet.
Or at least, it seems to only be the extreme cases that get the spotlight, rather than the more common, unseen struggle that people often mask and hide.
That’s also me, watching the other players make the situation far more complicated than it needs to be, but not wanting to be overbearing and ruin their fun.
I don’t know how much I even want from a phone these days. Just seems like things have stagnated in the mobile market for the past few years.
I honestly don’t know what I enjoy more about my current phone compared to the one I had 10 years ago.
They can be used for communication, payments, maps, music, YT and browsing the web. I think I’ll just get a small, cheap phone next time, as it’ll still check all those boxes.
My first job was as an “engineer”.
I spent most my time resetting passwords and setting up Outlook…
Job titles in IT don’t mean anything these days.
In particular, the term “engineer” has been butchered beyond recognition.
I’m not in software development, but this is how the entire company I work for operates.
We’re just kinda going forward with no clear direction, keeping stuff ticking over and constantly coming up with future plans that never come to fruition.
Also from the source:
To sustain our ongoing development efforts, about half of Signal’s overall operating budget goes towards recruiting, compensating, and retaining the people who build and care for Signal. When benefits, HR services, taxes, recruiting, and salaries are included, this translates to around $19 million dollars per year.
I think he’s taller than usual, so it takes him longer to accelerate at the start, but then he makes up for it with long strides.
That’s actually a good rule of thumb for every scenario in life.
