I haven’t experienced them those but the pull down shades I’ve used in the past have thing where you can twist the rod to set the tension and make them work better. Does it have something like that you can do? Also I agree with you about just using curtains

They don’t allow privacy fences. Only shitty metal picket fences you can see through. Can’t go outside without everyone on the street all up in your business and everyone’s fucking dogs are constantly barking at each other and getting loose because their fence isn’t tall enough to keep them from jumping it.

I was clearing 3 Goosebumps books a week at that age (Until I ran through them all and switched to the Redwall series). I didn’t have the internet back then though and had to share the TV and game consoles with my brother so there were less distractions. Good job to the kids.

There’s a pretty small window between not burning yourself and it cooling to the point the texture gets weird. I don’t like having to eat that fast.

Agreed. Look what Reddit turned into. Better to have fewer but higher quality comments than a sea of the same tired jokes and ancedotes over an over again.

Yea, people try to get fancy with regular cheese on grilled cheese sandwiches and I hate it. Every one I’ve tried as soon as it cools off it gets weird and lumpy and gross. Kraft singles stay melty a lot better. Also great on egg sandwiches for the same reason. I do prefer regular cheeses on burgers though.

I’m sure I’ve read about this before but I couldn’t say I really “know it”. It’s not something that ever comes up in my day to day life so I haven’t internalized it and probably wouldn’t be able to answer correctly if someone asked me how gravity works. I’d probably give the if first explanation about objects attracting each other with mass because that’s much more intuitive to me for whatever reason.
