Yeah, Richie’s character is great, I just felt like they skipped over a lot of development after ep 8. Syd and Richie becoming a great team would also be a great story element.

I don’t know - it seems like there could still be a lot of character development. Carmine has a lot of development to do before I would consider him healthy. I just hope they do better than they did with Richie. His transformation seemed like a miracle change.
Sydney and Carmine still have a lot of possible growth and conflict in their relationship. I’m very curious how that develops.
My main issue is that they seem to solve problems too easily.
Did anyone listen to Adam Curry’s Daily Source Code podcast? I remember him being very excited about the possibility of escaping the gatekeepers of traditional media. If i remember correctly, he was a major and important proponent of the open nature of podcasts.
Israel ramping up their genocide so significantly and a new US military campaign in the Middle East seems like a great reason to increase propaganda activity. I have a feeling it will only continue to get worse as the conflict spreads.
You don’t think the US and Israel have an online presence pushing propaganda? I’ve noticed some odd voting patterns on some posts relating to the genocide and recent bombings.
So DVD 1080 torrents are upscaled? I didn’t realize DVDs were so low resolution.
This is true in my case too.
That makes me think they it might be a good idea to have an instance called @therealdeal.com or something. You could even make it a complete service where you provide services for promotional/marketing activities, etc.
There are other jobs too, like camera operators, set design, costume work, writing, etc. The industry is pretty diverse. Lots of union work too, so that’s a bonus.
Maybe get into the movie industry. It is a little more long term, they are projects that last several months, but it might be a good environment.
Would it be difficult for apps to do it automatically? Just have a constant backup hosted on your phone or cloud account?
This is a bit of a tangent, but I think there should be options for the type of community you set up. One kind is the traditional, moderator-controlled community. Another kind could be a more democratic community where members have more power (and responsibilities).
Ahh, okay.
For me, mobile web browsers tend to be slower and a little more clunky when browsing Reddit or Lemmy/Kbin. Things just seem quicker in apps
Ahh! So that is why users are user@instance.name. it is basically like public email threads that are structured to promote discussion!
I think they meant the Reddit app.
Interesting, I agree with OP in that I never cared for browsing Reddit’s All, except for rare occasions. But your post made me think about the possibility of setting up multiple subscription lists:
Maybe they were weeding out bots?
