A recent food discovery (Well within the last year) I made was Charlie Anderson highly recommend his series on creating NY style pizza.
Us (humans) vs. Them (aliens)
I had my fake account deactivated for using a made up name a few years ago. I was forced to giving it a real fake name instead of a comedy one. Haven’t used it years now so I don’t even know if it’s still working.
Added to my circle!
Because some of us saps don’t have a phone capable of iOS 16+ which is what Mlem is targeting. Memmy runs great.
I’m only interested in it if I can plant an oak seed and see the tree grow.
Also free on https://www.gog.com/en/game/crusader_kings_ii if you want a DRM free version.
Running the Memmy update today with dark mode and I had moments where my brain thought I was scrolling through Apollo. Gonna be very happy with the app if it continues down this route.
Non directly, they own a lot of companies and IP. A LOT. Gearbox, Coffee Stain, Deep Silver, Warhorse, Aspyr, Saber, THQ Nordic, Dark Horse Comics, 3D Realms, Volition, Ghost Ship Games. You can put them in the same sphere as Microsoft with all their owned companies as both were out scooping them up over the last few years.
I go on there once or twice a day, I find I get to see posts about things I don’t see elsewhere and I like that the conversation often has people from within certain tech-sub spaces or even within the companies being discussed.
https://www.theverge.com/2023/6/13/23759674/reddit-mods-blackout-protest-extended-indefinitely
more than 300 subreddits had committed to staying dark indefinitely, SpicyThunder335 said. The list included some hugely popular subreddits, like r/aww (more than 34 million subscribers), r/music (more than 32 million subscribers), and r/videos (more than 26 million subscribers). Even r/nba committed to an indefinite timeframe at arguably the most important time of the NBA season. But SpicyThunder335 invited moderators to share pledges to keep the protests going, and the commitments are rolling in.
spez is playing his hand too soon. If he’s trying to play this down as a bit of noise that will pass, then it’s just a signal to keep it going.
The recall covers certain 2022 and 2023 Grand Cherokee and 2021 to 2023 Grand Cherokee L SUVs.
Important bit.
I’m sure Game Pass does a hit on Steam’s numbers, but no way does it hit that hard. Plenty of games are on Game Pass with high player counts on Steam. Take Back 4 Blood, not a well received game that’s also on Game Pass and currently has 982 players on Steam.
Planet of Lana—a indie game I honestly have never heard of—came out on Game Pass and Steam last month - 66 players.
I’m sure the 58 people currently playing it on Steam are thankful. It’s crazy how hard that game bombed.
Gonna presume the reason why they haven’t announced which studios are being hit is because they haven’t yet told them. So there’s now 15k+ people sat that their desks worrying if they’ll have a pay check in a few weeks time. That sucks.
This was last year, and they did buy them.
First name that came to mind when I saw the thread title. His new Weird Stuff in a Can episode was a fun journey.
