Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•What do you think of the idea of “P2P Journalism” as a tool to chill everyone out?
7·1 year agoIt depends. In some cases it is better to keep your head cool to make more weighed decisions

Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•The Party is conducting house raids. You are an undesirable and have X days prep. Where do you hide?
21·1 year agoThere’s a lot of literature on the work of Soviet partisans. Some survival guides from three letter agencies of different countries were leaked. I’d “arm” myself with those (and actually arm myself with real guns if I will have access to them) and move to the forest. Forests and mountains are an excellent terrain type to go into hiding with both cover and natural resources to keep you going
Ah, I see :( Poor hamster…

Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•What is something that you've found 'defeats the purpose'?
3·1 year agoActually, it’s not OK to bother to breathe. Your body is supposed to rely on reflexes to do that, so you shouldn’t really notice.

Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•What is the smallest city in your country that everyone can still instantly recognise the name of? What is it famous for?
2·1 year agoYeah, the town mentioned in the quote is, in fact, Pripyat, my bad. Still, Chornobyl is another Ghost town and the exclusion Zone is named after it, so it’s the town people recognise more.

Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•What is the smallest city in your country that everyone can still instantly recognise the name of? What is it famous for?
25·1 year agoChornobyl, Ukraine. “50 thousand people used to live here, now it’s a ghost town”
There are many more ghost towns now, due to the war. Adviivka, Bakhmut and many others, some small, some relatively big. Everyone has heard of those small cities.
Where the fuck did you get “about 20 friends”? I mean, holy shit, are you the extrovert guy from this meme?

Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•Best proprietary LLM these days that includes web search?
21·1 year agoChatGPT does with extensions, but you need to buy the premium subscription
That’s a feature I didn’t know I needed. Too bad Connect is proprietary IIRC
Listening to Tik-Toks or other stuff like that on speakers in public.
