What I love every time I see this comic is that Alex knew he would be persecuted for his art, and has accepted it.

- the table was circular and small for a table, like maybe two could sit at it. I didn’t imagine a material.
- I imagined more about the ball than anything else, it was made of a spongy material like in those sponge brushes for painting, and it was red. The person was a complete blank slate. The table was only circular, nothing else.

Not sure it’s used properly here. They seem to be using it as a synonym for harmless. A woobie is harmless, but that’s secondary to their pitifulness.

Not to defend the social security number system (because it’s terrible for unique identification of individuals and when it was created it wasn’t even intended to be used for that purpose) but you’re not supposed to carry it around with you all the time. It’s supposed to be in a drawer/safe/fireproof bag with the rest of your important documents, and only brought out when you need it.
I miss Unraveled
IMO there are just two questions to ask. Is she in pain? Is she ever going to get better? If the answer to the first is yes, and the second is no, then it’s time.

Hannah Montana was a Disney show where a girl was a popstar under a different name and wig so she could be a normal person when she wasn’t performing. VTubers, like Ironmouse that op referenced, are streamers that essentially play characters rather than stream as themselves in order to preserve their anonymity. They have cameras that track their movement, but rather than just stream the feed of the camera, they map that movement onto an avatar, usually a 3d anime girl.
In my opinion, base FFXIV A Realm Reborn is already a good game. The first expansion, Heavensward, takes it to great. Stormblood goes back to good. Shadowbringers and Endwalker together are the best Final Fantasy I’ve played, though other people don’t like Endwalker as much as me. I haven’t played Dawntrail since Endwalker is a clear endpoint for the story.
