This right here. For a while after moving to Lemmy, people were using voting like this. Now it’s back to downvotes everywhere on things people disagree on.
I really should pay for premium, it’s just that the free version does exactly what I wanted from it so I’ve never felt like I had to. But at this point I just want to support it!
Bit of a different answer, but I enjoy Daylio. Very simple and easy to track your mood and activities to look back on. Not really super useful, but very interesting and fun!
That edit is the saddest part about this
Same here. I’d be playing much more of Odyssey ran better on Steam Deck. On foot stuff is rough, but maybe I should just look at my settings again. I can’t remember if they’re down all the way or not. Ship stuff runs just fine though!
This isn’t really news anymore, and it’s not exclusive to Microsoft studios. Many games come to mind, notably GTA/RDR off the top of my head (outside the obvious Bethesda titles, since everyone’s more focused on them right now). GTA is also extremely close to the ten year mark between titles; RDR2 was eight years. These big, open world games have constantly been getting larger and taking more time to make for ages now.
Likely just to install it before release and play at midnight.
I love the look of the Type-7. I can’t wait for Starfield where I can make my own blocky, bulky cargo ship like that.
Better Call Saul as well!
Seeing downvotes as soon as there’s at least one is so cool to me. Very small detail, but it makes a pretty big impact.
Definitely not for everyone, but it’s my favorite!
I won’t. If Reddit goes through with their changes, I’ll probably use it a lot less, but you just can’t beat certain subreddit communities. I’ve been a member since July 2015 and have used it nearly every day since I’ve joined. I hope that these changes will make me use my phone less, but being honest, I’ll probably just be here all the time rather than Reddit.
Joined last night and I’m already really enjoying it. I’m still learning, but that’s just part of the fun right now! I really appreciate the smaller size, so if it really does take off in Reddit’s wake, I hope that doesn’t change too much.
Destiny. Been my favorite game since launch day in 2014.
Edit: made Destiny for any other Destiny fans to join!
I think every generation has at least some great designs no matter what. I can’t remember what gen number Sword and Shield are, but the fox that you can find pretty early on was a really standout design to me, for example.
I’ve always heard five is pretty good, so I definitely need to play it at some point; I’ve mean to for years. Maybe I’ll emulate that on my Steam Deck this weekend! Arceus was pretty good too, though I didn’t finish because my sticks got insane drift when I was playing that and I just lost interest due to that.
I tried Jeroba, but had some issues logging in and then noticed the UI is huge on my Pixel 7. I’m on Chrome now and it works great. I cam from Sync.
I personally lost interest in Pokémon after gen four. SoulSilver was my last game until a few years ago, so I’m kind of biased with that, but still. I think Pokémon designs started going downhill after gen five, plus all the over the top hand holding and tutorial stuff. The worst part to me however is the apparent lack of care and resources put into the newer games. A game like S/V is downright embarrassing as a modern game. Like hilariously bad.
