A group of them came by my college every week and provided a low cost, all you can eat vegetarian lunch. Don’t know much else about them, but that’s a point in their favor in my books.

Probably start with buying them dinner first
My guess is if you have a few ETFs you might even have “dealings with Israel”
As always with krazam videos, the ratio of how good this is to how many people I can show it to is ridiculous.
Waitaminute am I the guy in this video?
Oh gosh I almost missed the walls. Beautiful.
Yes, I don’t think “we distribute” is a household name (yet!), so it reads poorly.
I wonder why FAANG companies don’t all do that.
As an American dev, you should check out other silicon valley salaries. After hearing what some folks there make 190k doesn’t make me bat an eye.
100% understand the disclaimer, you don’t even have a picture to go off of.
Replacing the rafter is def the right thing to do, I’ll see how feasible that is once we take the roof off.
Thank you for your time and insight!
I have an old covered pergola that has roof leaks and subsequent rotted rafters.
My plan is to replace the roof to prevent further water intrusion, and as a part of that, remediate the rafters that are rotted.
As far as I can tell, remediation has 2 forms:
Chip out rotted parts, use Bondo to replace
Cut out the rotted section entirely, and put in a new section of wood, and… Affix the old parts to the new parts with…screws and a metal plate? Or maybe another piece of wood? Googling says this is called sistering, but I don’t know my way around carpentry.
I’m really iffy on the second one. One of the rafters has visible rotting and swelling about halfway through, so I don’t think Bondo will do the trick there and I’m at a bit of a loss as to what to do.
Any insight or advice would be appreciated!
Big fan of penny shakes as an alternative to soylent.
Filling, tastes acceptable, low sugar, high fiber and protein, and costs like 1.80/serving.
This is why more places need to split software engineering into it’s own thing, apart from cs.
Never had an intern worry about sorting algorithms, but if I could get one who knew how to use git and write tests, we’re off to the races.
I just wanted a nice set of headphones to listen to stuff.
Then I learned my lack of a DAC was bottlenecking the setup.
Then I learned me not having gold plated braided and custom made cables was bottlenecking the setup.
Then I learned I can’t hear a damn difference lmao
“there was once a time when the sky was open, when the twilight beckoned one forth, when the nascent rivers of the internet flowed free with information”, he waxed nostalgic.
“Fuck you and keep your ideas to yourself”, he says when someone says something he dislikes.
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I forget the plots of movies and books fairly fast, and I’m able to enjoy them “for the first time” many times.
My only issue so far is that it can be difficult to find a particular post if you don’t remember which community and instance it was on, afaik there’s no search across all posts in all instantiations.
You’re not the only one who thinks that
Obviously, it’s different because of who the defendant is. But I see it in kind of an opposite way: If Trump were anyone other than a former president, he would not have been given the luxury of a summons to appear in court. There would be a team of armed FBI agents outside his door at 6:30 in the morning, he would have been arrested and the government would be immediately moving to detain. So the idea that he’s being treated differently is true – but not from the way his supporters seem to be arguing.
It definitely was the last chance I saw a lot of folks.
Yeah, I know, that means I wasn’t intentional enough yadda yadda yadda, but high school really was the last time a lot of folks are in an environment where social interactions are so passively encouraged. After high school, you’re no longer pressured to keep in touch with folks that you’ve known for 4, 6, or even 12 years, and a lot of people do naturally fall out of touch.
