Yeah I honestly think its best to just let people offer up that information if they’re interested in sharing it, which they often do after talking to them a few times. I don’t get asked questions like that but I do get questions about other peoples ethnicity which I find pretty annoying, like “are they from China” or something like that. Yeah unless there’s a really specific reason to use invidious, Smarttube is the way to go. Anytime I’ve had an issue there’s an update that fixes it right away

Helix is my favorite, it does everything I want a text editor to do and it’s much more intuitive than vim/nvim. I was never a power user of either so I’m sure it’s missing plenty of functionality that nvim users are used to but it’s perfect for my use cases.

Yeah in my opinion sync is the best but bound to break eventually. Maybe revanced can keep it alive

Edit: after using Summit for a while I think it’s better than sync, I do wish I could get the layout a little more compact but it’s really nice as is.
