Honestly, your job doesn’t matter. Study the absolute hell out of leetcode and do mock interviews. Then, when you feel confident you’ll know you’re ready.

If you watch WWDC, they shared how it works. They have a private cloud that does not persist data on it, only processes it. Also, it’s audited by a third party and there is a cryptographic mechanism that will not allow your request to be accepted unless the server software has been publicly signed by the auditor. At least, this is my best understanding of it from what I remember.
Also, in the same presentation they announced that you can now lock your Apps and hide them, which will keep its data out of the OS search results. I am fairly certain this also means it’s opted out of ML/AI processing given that any LLM would rely on the same search index.
Niche is like “heatpumps” or “succulents” or just any random topic that you want to learn more about.
For me, Reddit was always invaluable for getting initial information on anything I needed to check out for the first time.
If men had mistresses, the “old lady” was their wife, but their concubines were young ones

I don’t know if this qualifies, but I go on call for my job and get woken up sometimes. I use a really annoying alert tone to make sure I wake up. Unfortunately, some times when I’m not on call I hallucinate hearing that tone as I’m dozing off or in a dead sleep and it makes me shoot straight up in bed.
Also, people were very influenced by religion and superstition. They may have interpreted mummified bodies as some connection to gods/goddesses. They in turn took up mummification based on this understanding, not because it seemed cool.
Everyone must’ve got a lot smarter after 2000.
Do kids still use these? Aka, are their parents forced to pay $100 bucks for this piece of 40 year old technology?
Love it when my coworkers reformat the code style, making it nigh impossible to understand what they actually changed, while greatly inflating their “contribution.”
It also blows away the git blame, making it hard to know who actually changed that one critical line of business logic 3 years ago that you need to understand before trying to fix some obscure bug.
I have one coworker who does this constantly and if you just looked at git blame, you’d think he wrote the entire code base himself.
Worked from home for 2-3 years. It was nice. Now they forced us back to the office, but once you’ve had a taste of freedom it’s hard to want to go back to that grind.
Overall, Covid was good for me, aside from the 1-2 times I caught it. But, the government was handing out free money, the job market was hot as hell and I got a high paying new job. Interest rates were low and I managed to scoop up a home and lock in with a low rate. It was the first time in my life that I feel like I got ahead after years of low wages and digging myself out of student loan debt.
What’s it used for? Determining how much you use the insurance you pay for? Any more info?
Why aren’t the booleans like “facts” or “no cap” for true and cap for “false”?
Also, you could have exceptions be called “Sus”
Blake Stone. Now that’s a name I haven’t heard in awhile
