I’m almost done with my CS degree, I started learning programming at age 10, low-level software development like drivers and embedded really interests me and that’s the direction I want to go in for a career, but I had to ask my friend who was studying with me to help me build my PC. Hardware just scares me. I’m worried ill bork something :3
What you do for work might be a factor, but i dont think pain to that extent is normal. I would stress to your doctor that basic tasks are painful and that youd like to get checked out anyway. Youve got nothing to lose by getting it checked, only to gain. Im in my mid 20s too and while i get aches in my knees/back occasionally its not debilitating as you describe it.
So far this week im playing Wifi troubleshooting on my Arch ;)
But seriously, ive been giving Hogwarts Legacy a tr and I enjoy it
I like how you assume they wouldn’t be our overlords :D
As ive grown older i find myself disagreeing more and more with the jedi whom as a child i idolised as paragons of good. But palpatine, vader, and the empire are so many things before being “poor good revolutionaries” trying to take down the status quo simply from the good of their golden hearts. Theres always more than 2 choices people :)
God I wish she’d finished the republic/imperial commando series. The only reason i dont read it once every year is because it hurts too much to know that theres no new book to round it out and complete it.
Its a joke from a new game. Look into Helldivers 2 and the satire of it related to how totalitarian governments use phrases like “managed democracy” and “freedom” to braniwash their populace into doing whatever they want. Great game too
Weve got Roman era ruins I think, but I cant find any info on the oldest standing building. Probably from the 13th-14th century.
I changed how i look at communities when i switched to lemmy. Instead of just looking at the part before the @ i look at the whole thing and consider that to be its name.
So instead of the gaming community its gaming@xyz.qr and gaming@abc.de as a whole.
Tl;dr: theyre different separate comminities and the name is for all intents and purposes the entire thing.
I suggest subscribing to all of them for the topics you want and slowly through exposure learning which ones youd like to keep.
