It’s nothing special but it’s always there for you. It’s like the one that’s been waiting while you’ve chased after other beverages and had your heart broken, and then you realize it was the one all along. tl;dr you friendzoned water

4·11 days agoSo would you consider Slay the Spire and Balatro to be roguelikes? I think they meet these four criteria.

Showerthoughts@lemmy.world•When you say "thank you kindly", the adverb is describing how you are thanking them, so you're basically saying "I'm being kind"

56·19 days agoYou are saying I thank you, and how I thank you is kindly (gratefully or with grace).
This is exactly what I’m saying - “How I thank you is kindly” i.e. “I’m being kind in the way I’m thanking you”
My brother in christ, you chose the instance.

2·21 days agoYeah, we shouldn’t let the AI companies get away with this. We should all start using AI to teach them a lesson!
Edit: it is kind of funny to think about AI getting trained on anti-AI content and becoming self-hating (in behavior only of course).

That’s true. I assumed it was more of a cure for aging. But OP did say “live forever” and “not dying”, so I’d agree that I don’t want those.
