I don’t have a problem with ads, but sometimes it does get be too much and feels a bit assaulty.
Los Angeles county vs Orange county.
LA allows billboards, OC doesn’t. It just feels so much cleaner and like a breath of fresh air as you drive from LA into OC.
I HATE when I am forced to watch commercials, in front of my face on the gas pump, while I am pumping gas into my vehicle. I should really get a discount on my gas for that.
I didn’t say David was perfect and that we should do everything he did. But after that story Nathan told, he was repentant of his sins. God didn’t take away all his wealth. Also, I’m not arguing pro wealth. What matters is a persons heart, not that they are physically poor. What matters is that they are spiritually poor, spiritually in need. And its harder for a rich person to feel like they are in need when they think they have it all.
The view of God vs Jesus on wealth doesn’t work, because they would not disagree. If you are seeing different views, its just different views on a different aspects of wealth. John 10:30 — I and my Father are one.
Yeah, Jesus was against wealth as far how it corrupts people. But if God was completely against it, why would God have made David wealthy? Because its about the person, not the wealth itself.
I’m not denying Jesus’s statements of the issues wealth causes people.
Never mind, wealth IS bad. But that is because humans are bad.
Wether Jesus was referring to the gate or not kind of doesn’t matter, since it was followed with the comment “With man it is impossible, but not with God. For all things are possible with God.” Basically meant a rich man could never do it on his own.
Great wealth corrupts people. Jesus did say that even rich people can be saved though. But only with the power of God.
Perfect example.
Jesus didn’t talk about wealth inequality in that way, as far as wealth being bad. His point was that the wealthy tend to think they have it all and are in need of nothing. Mostly that the richer you are, the more you love money than God.
He wasn’t just flipping tables and whipping wealthy people. They were at the temple making money off of selling animals to sacrifice for sins. They had made a business of selling indulgences basically, that was the issue.
Or maybe a cult of personality has you captured, preventing you from being able to see it from both sides point of view as I am doing.
You don’t have to agree with the other side in order to see it from their perspective.
You know what, the first time, I totally read your comment completely different than how you meant it. So my previous reply would have been different.
Even so, my comment was not disgusting, it was just using logic.

lol, okay that’s funny. But there are people on both sides I’d give it to.
Everyone acting like its okay to burn up teslas of uninvolved people because you disapprove of what Musk is doing. Then you should have no argument against pro-lifers burning down abortion clinics because they disapprove of what the doctors there are doing. Just saying.
Web rings still exist, you just wouldn’t know it because search engines don’t show you the types of sites that use them, which is usually personal sites.
I sometimes use excite.com (oldschool) for searching, and get better results than the major ones, sometimes not. Most people have no clue its even still up. I haven’t dug much, so I don’t know much about its current state. Like tripod sites, how they still exist but are full of hidden junk.
There are tons of forums out there, the search engines just won’t show them to you. The search engines are the real problem.
Many of them I see have video cameras next to them. And most I’ve encountered have a separate video screen above the touch screen. You know, that way you don’t have to miss your favorite ads while you fiddle with your card and put into your info and select if you want a receipt and if you want a carwash to go with your ad.
Just 200 in one night is a lot, I would think there’d be some carelessness leading to getting caught. Did most of the gas stations fix them and continue showing ads? Just curious.
