Had to test with Kagi also, leads with official documentation, after that tutorials and unofficial things. Nothing obviously irrelevant. The only thing with the Kagi results, was that there were a few very simmilar official documentation links (for different postgresql versions) at top. But, still good search results. Not sure why anyone is still using google, when there are quite a few better alternatives availale

That is wezterm which have builtin Nerd Font fallback, and I actually think WezTerm renders it to wide to fit it better with other fonts. But the rest of the font is JetBrains Mono

This was in 1985, on a ABC80, a Swedish computer with a 3 MHz CPU. So, in theory it would be much faster, but I assume there were many performance losses (slow basic interpretor and thing like that) so that for loop got close enough to a second for us to use.
On my first programming lesson, we were taught that 1 second sleep was for i = 1 to 1000 😀, computers was not that fast back then…
Tested to search for a stomp rust crate and got horrible results. So, I guess that you should test the different search engines with your use case and see which one fits that.

Except if all developers, who are also power users of the internet, switches to another browser which allow ad blockers, all web based apps and websites will shift to work better in Firefox then on Chrome. Then the regular user will also switch.
No ads disguised as search results. Actually, no ads at all. Great search results. Lenses.
Also, there is a solution for incognito mode. And ad supported, in practice means tracked by advertisers, and hence you are the product.

The implicit contract is to show an ad for a service, but they are actually violating the contract by attaching other things to the ads. They then use the ads to steal information that they then sell without my consent. So, if anything we are discussing honor amongst thieves.
I do not block ads. I however use Privacy Badger to block tracking cookies, which means that I don’t see ads. I will see all ads that are not tracking me, which seems to be none. Is protecting my privacy also piracy?
That is pretty much the same policy I have for forcing adds on me.

Unfortunately Turkey controls the Bosporus Strait which connects the Black Sea with the Mediterranean Sea (and the rest of the world). This makes the quite an important player since a large part of the Russian Navy is located in the Black Sea. Turkey is well aware of this of course, and know exactly how they can use this as a leverage against NATO.
A summary of the Sweden/NATO/Turkey situation. Sweden wants to join NATO. US wants Sweden to join NATO. Turkey and Sweden have had some frosty relations due to Sweden criticising Turkey in various matters.
Turkey was using the situation to pressure US to sell them F16. Then some right wing activists in Sweden (with some ties to Russia) used the opportunity to upset Erdogan by burning the Quran outside of their Embassy. Which then gave Turkey the opportunity to act very offended, and could put even more pressure on US to get the F16. NATO was then hoping for Erdogan to lose the election, which he unfortunately didn’t do (at least officially). So, now my guess is that they are back to talking about getting the F16, hence Erdogan is doing public statements about Sweden not joining any time soon.
There are “simple text editors” with IDE like features also, like neovim configured with LSP, Helix aso. And for languages that will infer types, it is really nice to have the editor show the types as inlay hints.
