That would be anxiety personified for me
That would be anxiety personified for me
Proton mail and AirVPN
MusicBee on PC
Vinyl Music Player on my phone
Local mp3s and flacs work the best
I dabble with YouTube Music and music-map.com for music discovery
Haven’t found a nice self hosted music streaming setup that I’m happy with (unsatisfied with the apps and features). I want a nice looking app (super subject of course) that supports offline play and ReplayGain. I’m super happy with Navidrome but not with the Windows/Android apps
Which communities?
I’ve tried posting in metalcore, dnb, and phonk and the users don’t get mad at me or anything but there’s just not that much engagement.
Not all electric heaters use that kind of filament
I don’t really agree with the premise of claiming to be or identifying as a centrist or independent. I align more politically with one party over the other, but even then I do not like the decisions that the last party I voted for are making.
I must of read this somewhere else, but it is beneficial to view parties like buses. You get on the bus and you ride on it until you arrive at your destination or until it no longer is heading in the direction you want to go. Then you can get on another bus of your choosing.
I always have a lot to talk about and discuss with opinions on a large variety of topics.
I’ve already had good debate with other people (without it devolving into insults). So I suppose I got that going for me which is nice.
I guess I want to see where this goes
Ologies with Alie Ward
Torx screws and threaded inserts is not really that much effort engineering side.
It has more significant impact on the cost. Millions of torx screws and threaded inserts cost more than self tapping Phillips into plastic.
I think often needs to be bolded there.
I agree with him, but I don’t think I was toxic about it or even really intended to be toxic.
I just want a service that’s better than Netflix/Amazon/Disney/Spotify can offer. I want all my media in one place. I want access to it even if the internet is down. Segmentation of media across all the platforms is bullshit and it drives me wild. I’m getting less than what I paid for when Netflix was the only game in town. It’s worse and less than what it used to, so why bother paying them.
I pirate everything I consume.
I do believe artists should be paid for what they create, so I still purchase music even if I’ve already pirated it. The artists get more money from me than they would have if I just streamed on Spotify. I think it’s a win-win for me and the artists.
Canada, 28. Yes, probably
I did one driving lesson in a manual car, have done plenty of sim racing, and ride a motorcycle.
So although I might not have a lot of real world experience with a manual transmission in a car, if I was put in one, I don’t think I’d have any problem with it at all
I’d say it’s closest to Obsidian but not quite
SyncThing - to sync my files between devices and avoid the big corporations cloud (use it for notes, Keepass database, photos, etc)
Logseq - super advanced note taking with tagging and relationships between notes (all store locally)
Authpass - opening my Keepass password database on my phone
GrapheneOS Camera - just to avoid the Google camera app as I have Google Photos disabled on my phone and needrd a good app that doesn’t break when going to view the gallery (since it tries to open Google Photos)
Simple Gallery - to view my photos on my phone
Signal - I have it but I have very few friends that use it unfortunately
AntennaPod - for podcasts, I’m thinking of self hosting a podcast tracker to sync my listening habits across my devices, we’ll see if that happens
Vinyl Music Player - to play my local mp3 files and playlists (I use MusicBee to manage what I sync to the phone as my mp3 library is quite large, and SyncThing to actually copy stuff over)
I guess it depends how old we were when these things came out. I missed out on the sharing videos from flash sites and really got on the internet and using it regularly when youtube was already a thing.
Wow, I don’t think I’ve ever seen the original before I thought I had linked the original
Yes, that they’re too leftist and are apologists.
