It is not as if any other system of measurement used base 12 which would be the sensible choice by that standard (or base 60 but that might be a bit unwieldy in terms of number of digits required).

It is actually the opposite, since it is purely abstract everything in math is objective. There is literally no subjectivity possible in something that isn’t in the real world.
Well, there are certainly wrong ways to arrive at the answer, e.g. calculating 2+2 by multiplying both numbers still gets you 4 but that is the wrong way to get there. That doesn’t apply to any of the methods in the post though.
I am not talking about taking culture and integrating it into your own, I am talking about appreciating it without taking it.
I think the problem is more that many Americans are very focused on their own culture to the exclusion of every other culture and in a sense love these things more because they are theirs and they grew up with them than out of an honest appreciation after comparing it with alternatives.
The hated minority being inferior but also immensely powerful is a pretty standard feature of anti-minority world views of all kinds. It is pretty much required to justify the extreme actions they want to take against the minority.
A lot of software writes to log files or temporary files or lock files or database transaction logs as part of its normal function and when those writes fail due to a full disk the software doesn’t work anymore.
It is not that the regular frontend doesn’t work and alternative frontends do, it is that half of the stuff on their server (including image uploads and the frontend) don’t work because the admin has no time to deal with it. The problem isn’t the software used but the lack of maintenance.
So really any tab user in any language requiring alignment then?
It is so brave of you to share your struggle with that horrible affliction with us here.
There are also many things we consume only because marketing makes us want them even though we have no real need for them. And many jobs producing completely useless things. Not to mention waste through planned obsolescence, DRM, patents and similar mechanisms that artificially reduce the usefulness of goods below its natural level. We could easily produce everything we need with a fraction of the current work force.
Oh, I meant searching for lists of celebrities with mixed heritage.
You might be able to find some more unique looks by searching for terms like mixed heritage, often children with unusual combinations of ethnicities also have facial features that are not often seen in the countries where the individual ethnicities are common.
That is not quite how that works. The effect can apply to separate fields of knowledge or separate skill sets separately. You might actually know what you are talking about when it comes to e.g. plumbing but only think you do when it comes to e.g. IT systems.
Also, expanding on that, if you go into every interaction with a narrow expectation (e.g. to find the love of your life) you will be disappointed almost all the time but if you keep an open mind you might come out of that with some other positive interactions (a new friend, an interesting conversation, …) than you expected or were hoping for.
I honestly don’t think AI is anywhere near advanced enough to produce entertaining content in the long term. I see the current boom in generative AI as a fad based on novelty that will die down to a low level until there is some significant improvement to AI actually understanding what it is doing instead of just being a slightly more advanced markov chain like reproduction of existing content with no understanding at all. Sort of similar to what happened in VR in recent years.
“Good morning/day/evening” or something similar always seemed to be appreciated and “Have a nice/great day/week/weekend/…” works quite well in most situations where you or other people are leaving too.
I doubt that would work since the nature of the information often already limits the number of people who might have access to it severely.
I love musicals and musical movies but really didn’t like this one.
I would argue that non-native speakers who spend time on websites using a (to them) foreign language are probably above average on literacy and reading comprehension when compared to other people in their country though.
