A number of languages are not left-to-right, BTW.

I will continue not using it. I was interested in Oculus until they sold to FB and then I nope’d right out of that. I really did think VR was neat, but various things kept me from pulling the trigger. If it becomes the only way to use chunks of the internet, I just won’t use them; I grew up still in the analog world (though we did have BBS and very early dial-up in the '80s), and I could go back to it. I’d honestly miss educational content more than anything else, but I can get books. In my lifetime, that strategy would probably still work fine.
Interesting! Thank you for answering. I’ve met folks from around the bulkans and many speak a few lancuages
Edit: also, the Balkans. Spelling > me
How many languages do you speak? How many did your grandparents speak? How many do your children (or theirs) speak (if you have any)?
Some of the the Louisana folks would often say ka-SHAY in a wonderful Cajun accent.
As long as it’s not scrambled, I suppose
It varies by region at least in the US based on a few years of doing service desk work. Listening to YouTubers, it seems a bit all over the place as well.
Well, crap. Guess I’ll eat a nice quitch to chear myself up
I mean, LOAF was a thing (Linux on a Floppy) that had basic functionality even as most distros were downloaded or on CD. I can’t imagine anyone still develops it, though.
The term of a US president in the early 1980s.
A “niche” is not a “nitch”
1 + false ? (I have no idea in which order JS would evaluate things as I rarely have to touch that language much anymore)
Probaly Jomon (i.e. whatever was spoken by some of the first people to inhabit Japan).
Yeah, my mom’s whole side of the family has issues like that. Dad’s not as much, but I may have lost the genetic lottery in that bit. Best of luck to you with your issues as well!
It was a tongue-in-cheek comment hoping to spur some conversation about alternatives. I don’t know what virtue would be signaled here. Also, I’m still awaiting official diagnosis but a DNA test mentioned I was likely to have celiac’s, my dad recently got diagnosed with it, and I’ve always had issues after eating nearly anything, so no wheat for me for now.
Do you have any non-dessert options?
die unless $keyword == “unless”;
My Ninja has worked just fine for me for a few years now. I don’t really have Vitamix money to spend (especially since they are even more expensive here in Japan)
Cookie dough and ice cream scoops
I always just use a spoon (or sometimes two, in the case of portioning cookies) without issue. I never saw the appeal of these. Then again, there are probably people who eat more ice cream and make more cookies than I do.
Definitely agree on the rest. For measuring cups, also pay close attention to how the handle is connected to the body; I’ve had some that look like a single tack weld was done and they break off in now time.
I mean, if you change it to “if Bob murdered a guy in cold blood (i.e. not defense, etc.) and no one was looking, did Bob break the law?” The answer to me wouldn’t be anything but yes.
Just because the offense is different or you don’t agree with it doesn’t change that in my eyes. It generally doesn’t change it in the eyes of the law, either. Always campaign against laws you think are bullshit. If enough people do, you might be able to do something about it.
