With OPs figure of 5k/year that would be around 8 years of saving in an ETF portfolio. How often do you need an endoscopy? Not sure if 5k is a realistic number though.

US health insurance is basically a scam. Saving the money makes way more sense statistically. But A) insurance is there to minimize risk (of going bankrupt by being sick) and B) people (especially US Americans) tend to spend all the money they have, and money you already spent on health insurance is money you cant spend elsewhere.

What do you mean? The “potatoes are easy to grow” part? Idk, if you need to put “a ton of work” into growing potatoes youre most likely doing something wrong or are living in Antarctica.

This is true, if its just about the money its not worth it. But the time spent growing food is much more enjoyable than work, so its probably not a fair comparison.

I wouldnt say ‘a ton of effort’ though. Potatoes for example you plant them, water them like any other plant and voila 2kg of potatoes. Potatoes are cheap af though so thats not gonna save you a ton of money, but theres virtually no work involved.

Growing weed is the actual money saver here if it applies to your situation. Last year I had a plant yield 200g dried with definitely less effort than thats worth.

Klar, wollte das auch nicht in Frage stellen weil man den Unterschied schon sehr leicht erkennt, klang nur von dem aufdringlich anlabern Aspekt her so.

Und falls du nochmal in so ne Situation kommst, aus meiner Erfahrung kann man Leuten auf Emma direkt ins Gesicht sagen dass sie dich nerven (muss man aber nicht so formulieren^^), das wird gut aufgenommen. Vielleicht sowas wie “nimms mir nicht übel aber ich möchte grad nicht quatschen” oder so. Kann mich aber auch sehr gut reinversetzen dass man high ist und nicht weiß wie man eine Situation handlen soll xD
