What’s wrong with submitting bugs? That seem standard, that’s one part of getting it attention and hopefully getting it fix. The reason Bluetooth probably suck back then because low adoption and likely it was still getting started.

JS is basically the Hydra from the Greek Mythology.
Though PHP is literally the problem had me lol.
Yes, streamers might a bad example I admit but in terms of general population being privacy centric. I doubt most people don’t really care until ofcourse it affects them if we do we would have huge backlash with Amazon Echo, Google assistant those stuff won’t take off. Baby cameras, IP cameras installed in their very homes those things are a huge privacy concerns yet they are still here. We have TikTok/ Vine which people voluntarily submit videos. Theres Pokemon GO which prompt people to use their cameras to catch Pokemons. Not knowing if those image captured might be stored and analyze. Smartphone themselves we have no idea if that thing is recording us. I think Google glass failed simply because of its market which were rich and fashion centric did not like it. Compared to it’s competition who still seem alive today.
Or you do the right thing re-write or refactor, apply the latest practice add some tests to it. This way you won’t have a black box anymore. Who knows there might be a hidden bug there that might be a huge security issue and could bite you back in the future.
Google glasses, I think it’s death was mainly because it looks nerdy aside of course the huge privacy concerns. Which honestly don’t exist now. Look at twitch streamers streaming everywhere. People installing cameras at their home and connected to the net for the world to see. Now we are going hard with VR/AR even Apple has a product for it.
I guess why it’s weird because of the loose rules it follows, like what is mentioned about === and ==. There is WebAssembly which kinda acts like Javabyte code or CIL there used to be huge hype that it’s going to replace JavaScript, though it’s not used that much today. I think why there is low adoption is mainly because JavaScript is good enough, it’s widespread and easy to learn.
I would probably ask the question to whoever give this option to me. Probably something like “Tell me about yourself in the most detailed way”.
The fact that it is a registered domain is just class.
Just realize it’s a thing, it even has a name for it, apparently it’s called rhetorical shields.

Yeah I agree they can be search but I think my point is why we have to do this. Why it’s us who has to do the due diligence where our tax go we have done our due diligence on making sure we paid our taxes exactly. Why can’t the government do the same thing. I like how Australia doing it. I hope my country I am in does the same thing.
Not really from USA so I have no idea what the situation there is but in my country Philippines a lot of budget is tied behind what we locally call confidential and intelligence fund. This fund even education department is asking for it’s quite a huge part of the budget. This are not accessable to the public fyi there is no breakdown for that budget.
You’re free to look into the publicly available budgets of governments you pay taxes toward and see a breakdown of where every dollar you spend in taxes goes by doing some simple math.
Doubt it’s that simple as asking for those kind of information are usually behind red tapes and some are even confidential. Most people are not motivated enough to do that.
Some countries will even do this work for you and send you a breakdown of where your money went. IIRC Australia does this.
That’s interesting was not aware of that. Only if my country does that.
Taxes go to “the betterment of society” in many ways. They pay for all kinds of shit. Don’t be silly.
Yeah agree they do I guess the way they are like blackbox makes a huge disconnect to those who are paying.
Probably not originally a scam but something about Tax, maybe it’s just me but taxes are suppose for the betterment of society. Everyone suppose to pay their fair share of tax yet it’s strange that we can’t even see how are taxes were used to improve society. There is no breakdown like a receipt on how our tax was used. While we file taxes we have to be meticulus or we get ourselves in trouble.
It’s hostile to new users and when you do ask you will likely not get answer might get scolded or just get closed as duplicate. Then there is the fact that most has answers doesn’t matter if it’s outdated or just bad advice. Pretty much everything has GitHub now. Usually I just go raise the question there if I have a genuine question get an answer from the developers themselves. Or just go to their website api/ library doc they have gotten good lately. Then finally recent addition with chatgpt you can ask just about any stupid question you have and maybe it may give some idea to fix the problem you encounter. Pretty much the ultimate rubber duck buddy.
Oh alright silly me 😁
