I’ve been dipping on both. What gets me more there are niche stuff though.

Same happened with me. I blocked an instance without realizing. My guess is that it’s either a bug when block instance was being implemented or I just stumbled on the wrong option, since they are close to each other.
I think lemmy.ml was blocking kbin a while ago, should be fixed by now, not sure.
Try checking it out through another instance.
I wouldn’t rely too much on lemmy for news and politics tbh, because posts can sway on way or another or even not get traction because most people don’t agree with it. Instead I think it’s better something like a RSS feed where you can pick your sources, or maybe just check a couple of less biased news outlets, so you can somehow have a more broad overview of what’s going from different perspectives.
I use one of those plug in repellents. Since they show up in the evening, I turn it on for an hour or two around that time, wait a bit to let the smell leave the room then close windows and doors. Before sleep I do a scoop around the room to find any fucker left.
I swapped instances a couple of times because of federation with political instances. Highly recommend it.
Now it makes sense why there already a couple of requests when I briefly installed threads.
Everything everywhere all at once, but in a good way
Connect and wefwef. But also keeping an eye on the other apps when they get updated.
Steve, is that you?
I’ve find aram to be pretty fun tbh. No raging or anything, just skill spamming and it’s super casual
Got earlier this year. Shit was rough. First 7 days were miserable, never got sick this bad, then started getting better. But the cough lasted for almost a month. Not lasting effects though, thankfully.
Its status on federation with problematic instances.
Thought you meant you didn’t want to keep seeing read posts on your feed. If it serves of any consolation you can turn the setting on/off so read posts show up again, also you can save posts, so you can see them on your profile’s saved section, even if they don’t show up on your regular feed anymore.
That’s a lemmy feature. Some apps have this others don’t (I mean the option to change your lemmy user settings), but you can just log in your instance on a web browser, click on your name, then settings and then disable ‘show read posts’. Any post that you vote (and I think open?) counts as being read, so next time you reload your feed you won’t see them.
That’s awesome, thank you!
