Stress, especially about money, makes you tired. So it’s got nothing to do with being lazy. I just switched medication because the old ones made me tired. It adds up quickly to feel debilitating IMO.

We use rince aid for dish washing machines. Works great.
About four years on average. I would go longer, but at that point the phones I buy tend to go buggy. I buy phones in the € 250 to € 300 range.
A person I know used to work as a nurse in an operating room, stuff like this happens more often than you’d think. I haven’t heard an eggplant mentioned by them though.
Damn, after reading the first paragraph I really tought this was going to include masturbation by insertion of an eggplant. Now I’m a little disappointed to be honest.
You need a transmitter (oscillator + modulator) and an amplifier to get any reasonable range. Also (maybe even more important) some good antenna cable and an antenna tuned for your frequency. Without the right antenna you’ll never get a decent range.
This would also work as an occasional alarm for me, because there are a lot of pirate radio stations in my part of the world. It would go like: static noise - sudden silence - guy shouting “Hello?! Test one, two!” - horrible music.
It’s a coke farm.
The dev could claim something like “prior art”, or whatever the alternative is for software. Suppose I trademark the name “is-odd” for a company, should NPM now hand me the “is-odd” package name? This would surely break the internet in the same way is an this case.
I get that, but suppose you start a package on NPM named “bronk”. Sometime later someone starts a company with that name. Should you just be forced to give up your package name, just because people suddenly associate the name with the company?
Not in my book. They asked him if he would rename his package, he replied sorry but I’m building a project with this name, and they replied that they were going to send lawyers to do takedowns if he would release his project. This would also rub me the wrong way. Also, the dev was already working on the package before the kik company ever came to NPM. Why would he have to give up on the name for his project?
This one. I don’t like the other things you mention. I did join a sub reddit on the topic years ago, but it was awful. Full of people who didn’t know anything of the subject, but were very willing to downvote.
I was among the last to get drafted (I’m 48). After my year they stopped drafting, but they never cancelled the draft bill.
I just hope no wars will be started over here (western Europe) in the next ten years, so my sons won’t get drafted.
Just to be factual; This letter was signed by Einstein among others, and not written by him. Also, yes Einstein was a smart guy, and a famous physicist who publicized some grand theories. He was not however a political expert. So while you may agree with his views on the state of Israel, don’t proclaim it as the absolute truth because Einstein said it. Because he was a layman in these matters. A well informed and smart layman, but still a layman.
The reason for this rant is that you can find way too much doctors and Phd’s today wo will give opinions on things like climate change or Corona vaccins, while their field of expertise is something like ancient history or oil drilling. And people are swallowing it because someone really smart said it, and it gives them a way to ignore the real experts.
Back to the letter above, the alphabetically second person to sign the letter was Hannah Arendt, and she was a philosopher and an expert on the works of totalitarian governments. So if you want to give weight to this letters by using the name if one of the signees, I’d advise to use her name. And mention Einstein as an aside just to get the clicks.
Pop stars like these two are pretty common for all ages. Like Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera and Pink, and Whitney Houston and Mariah Carey And all the others before.
I’ve had this happen, but I found out it is of magazines I had blocked later on, hiding the comments for me. (I’m on Kbin, don’t know if this works the same way elsewhere)
You’re welcome.
Mind you, this book is considered one of Heinlein’s worst. In my opinion Heilein was great SF writer, but under the surface there’s always something off, which can be explained by his political views. This book has a high percentage of libertarian propaganda.
