I was able to build some trust and now it’s extremely friendly, I live in an apartment complex with no pet doors in central NC, should I bring it inside and see if it’s chipped in the morning? I don’t wanna leave it outside if it might have no home, but I don’t wanna steal someone’s cat

It looks like an adolescent or a late kitten? The collar has nothing on it, it’s just a piece of white flexible plastic with a buckle…

Removed the “HELP” since people in the other thread were able to help me figure out that I should leave it be outside

Okay, that seems to be the consensus from the other thread too, thank you

Lol, everyone in the other thread seemed to agree that I should leave it be and that it was outside intentionally, someone very helpfully pointed out the collar looks to be a flea collar so I’m back inside now and hopefully it makes its way back to its owner’s unit in the morning

But I did give it LOTS of scritches and eye kisses and attention, and sat outside or walked with it for probably about an hour

Well it’s not around anymore so if I see it while I’m out on a walk again or something maybe I can tuck a note in its collar and see if anyone takes it? I just went out to check cause now I’m a bit anxious could have led it away from its home and I don’t want it to not be able to get back 😅

The recurring trend here clearly is me being anxious lol
