I thought about it, but I’m inclined to leave it. Especially because, unlike Reddit, Lemmy users are understanding… and I kind of like my retirement “joke.”
Is the hot glue pretty good for standing up to kitty abuse? I was thinking PVA glue, but a glue gun would make things quicker.
They were both aluminum free, one’s just not labeled. I had to give up on antiperspirant a long time ago because it made my skin weird. Still, weirdly, kind of miss it though.
I was thinking of Cyprus. But the last company I worked for bought a small business in Cypress, CA. and I conflated the two when I made the title.
Quite similar but it’s hard to tell.
The smell reminds me little enough of a cypress, that I’ve gone in thinking it’s related to Cypress California. But now that I think about it, it smells even less like a suburb of LA.
My grandmother ended up with a cat because it came with the house she bought. Midnight’s first family took her with them when they moved out but she came back to the house a couple weeks later and wouldn’t leave. They came and got her, and a day or two later she was back at my grandmother’s door. After the 3rd or 4th time, my grandmother had a cat.
She was en excellent mouser who would beg for popcorn (and nothing else).
I’ve been a (hobbyist license) F360 user for a long time but this having a native Linux (.deb) version and the realtime Blender interaction has me thinking about trying it. $150ish has long been what my brain thinks CAD is worth for my simple needs, so it’s got that going for it. I’ve got a couple quick projects that are good for learning a new platform. One of the designs already made me rage quit Ondsel.
Void kitties are expert helpers. Looks like Vin is getting to business.
You know how people get a collecting hobby foisted upon them? Like you tell one person that you bought a fun bell on vacation and then, before you know it, everyone is giving you bells as gifts all time and you’re a bell collector for some reason?
Maybe that’s how some kinks happen too.
Unix epoch time. It has a cool name and I get to pretend its a Star Date.
I love the idea that they’re at two adjacent tables, each one staring at the other wondering why they hate them.
In the rare occasions that my wife needs to use my phone, I need to type my (12 digit) pincode out on a number pad and read it back to her to be sure I get it right. I can type it flawlessly a dozen times a day but if I try to recite it, I screw up the order.
Totally. This person needs to put some mod podge on top to protect the paper and add weight.
We are Meow Bob-omb and we are here to make you think about tuna and feel fluffy and stuff!
If the docs I have to write are long enough I will include a small diatribe about a ancient pop-culture hill I’m still willing to die on, just to see if anyone notices.
That looks like the media endpoint in action, all right.
Just gotta pair to some speakers and you’ll be watching bird videos together in no time.
I don’t think Lemmy supports media fields in comments (though I’ve only skimmed the API, I could be wrong) just on posts. I usually use Postimages for hosting images for comments.
My grandparent’s had that same uranium glass set. They used on of the ones with a lid as a candy dish. I haven’t thought about that in close to 40 years.
