Yeah, I barely looked at Lemmy Thursday - Saturday.
Fresh curds / squeeky cheese. Back then they were less available in stores we used to make a point of stopping at the Tillimook Dairy creamery to stock up when ever we were on the north Oregon coast.
It’s only a matter of time before corporate WANs like Amazon sidewalk and/or the ever decreasing cost of cellular modems and IOT contracts mean they won’t even ask anymore.
In the mean time, these things are usually programmed with minimal effort. I have to wonder if there’s an actual unlock process or if giving it a completely isolated subnet would satisfy the check.
It’s been forked to Mbin
At Ralph’s you can only use the express line if you haven’t murdered anyone that day.
The most satisfying thing when I need to fidget is something to take things apart and put back together. And the best things for that are ones that can be stripped and reassembled without me needing to look at them.
So far the best of best is this “multitool pen” I got for secret santa last year. It’s nearly worthless for any of its advertised functions, but as a fidget toy I really like it.
Nice. Reuse is usually better than recycling.
Let’s not forget voluntary constipation, the first topic I remember really consuming the site.
My son is ALSO named Bort,
I’ve spend 30 years (as of October 2nd) looking for “BORT” novelty license plates in every gift and souvenir shop I’ve been in.
Just once I want one of those to say what it really means.
Please don’t return this book, it hurts our numbers. We just had an extra page ¯\(ツ)/¯
Hmmm. I was having issues with images on my lemmy host taking forever to propagate so I used postimages for this one. The gremlin is following me.
I’ll attempt to fix.
I have been known to refer to him as such. According to my wife his name is Laszlo Cravensworth McKitten the Third, but I know Jackie Daytona when I see him.
Livin’ the good life. Congrats
“Fine! I’ll set up debugging! Stupid piece of…” - Me at some point, a little too late, into most projects
Not quite 5 days.
I had a bulged lumbar disc but all the pain was in my knee so I thought I had done something to my patella. I couldn’t get in to see my doc so I was just trying to make my knee comfortable, which was impossible because it was an inflamed nerve. Then finally I was crawling back into bed for one more try to sleep and something about how I moved shifted the bulge and the pain went away. Maybe 30 seconds later I was hard asleep.
This was in the 90s and one of the local stations played reruns of Gilligan’s Island from 2:00 am until the news started at 5:30. I watched so many episodes… but I’m fine (⊙_⊙)
I don’t think I can answer since equating to a font would indicate of consistency or repeatability that doesn’t exist.
I’m in my 40’s and I still can’t decide if I prefer writing a 7 with the crossbar though it of not. Of if I should draw a 4 like a triangle on a stick or a poorly made box.
The first 2 prequels made me realize the only Star Wars movie I really loved was Empire. New Hope and Jedi (apart from the advanced in film making they pioneered) were good, not great.
I still haven’t seen episodes 3, 8, or 9 and I feel no desire to ever do so.
