Thanks for the very detailed explanation!
Why is Hexbear so popular? I’ve never even heard of it
I fucking love my Jellyfin server, it’s so seamless
Pretty sure it’s a universal app to access all kinds of fediverse apps, like mastodon, calckey, etc.
This was something I missed from reddit, the always relevant xkcd
I use windows 10 simply because it just works for my needs. Its just customizable enough for me and I’ve tried Linux and it’s too much effort to get everything I use working on there. I mostly use my PC for gaming anyways and then my laptop for work.
I put my own API key into Infinity and still find myself using Lemmy more often. The content on reddit has gotten so bad. It might just be the fact I’ve been spoiled by the (mostly) high quality content here though.
My instance has downvoting disabled and honestly I’m glad it is. Downvoting never seemed to add anything to Reddit. If a comment isn’t popular then people just won’t upvote it
This environment feels so much more welcoming
My cities thread on Reddit isn’t even active.
I’ve been planning on trying out Infinity for Everything
I remember thinking just that was freaky, ChatGPT is even crazier
House Shark is a cinematic masterpiece and I’d watch it again anytime
There’s an app called jerboa on the play store that I used to use, now I’ve side loaded an app called Lemmynade
Pleasure to meet you as well!
Pretty sure I already saw this reposted on Reddit (not sure, my reddit client and my Lemmy client look too similar so I keep mixing them up!!)
How does Lemmy even work with mastodon? I couldn’t figure it out when on mastodon.
The hobby subreddits and the smaller subs were the only ones I was sad to see go when moving to Lemmy, I was surprised by how much I didn’t miss anything else at all .
I used to despise the huge quick settings buttons when they first came out, but I’ve grown to really like them. I had to use an older phone without the new quick settings and I noticed I really preferred the new ones because they’re easier to press and just feel way more polished. I am upset that we don’t just have the option of choosing between either one though…
