There’s plenty, but there’s toxicity to be found on every platform. I interpret this as people being mad that Trump was unbanned, or maybe some other ideological issue that mainstream Liberals have.
I think the bigger problem with twitter is that the bots have taken over and the content continues to spiral the drain (but again, happens on plenty of platforms).
This is why I only work 32h and take Fridays off.
I think it’s in mastodon and not lemmy.
It can also save money. I love just printing things I need rather than buying them! Even if I have to do some test fits, I can easily beat off-the-shelf prices with some meters of PLA.

Windows 10 but I use WSL for VS code and docker.
I love Linux, 20+ years I’d use, but the desktop experience is inferior to Win/Mac in my opinion. I do hope that changes though.

I think this will ultimately be solved by 3rd party clients.
There are tons of mobile apps in the pipeline and some already released. I just got set up with Memmy a couple days ago and it already makes things a bit easier; a step in the right direction.
On desktop I imagine browser plugins helping to tie the experience a bit more together. Hopefully the vanilla UI can also deal with cross-instance behaviour down the road.

I could imagine an autonomous, on-demand rural train service. Due to the low expected traffic, it seems like you could just build some additional sidings and use a more conventional design.
