    The title is misleading. It’s a potential sign of (past) life, but the article is full of quotes from these scientists emphasizing again and again how it could quite possibly be from a non-living origin so we need to be cautious how we interpret it.

      The title is so bad it’s less “misleading” and more “lie”.
