I doubt they’ll let that happen. Every regime needs a scapegoat minority to oppress and blame for all their own failings 😢

They’ll just resurrect the iron curtain.

I can’t even imagine the feeling of not being able to fight for your right to exist. You are 100% correct, this is absolute insanity.

What is the LGBT(+) ‘movement’? There are LGBT+ people, of course, but what makes it a ‘movement’ just because they share a characteristic? That would be like the ‘Asian movement’ or ‘blue eyed movement’.

I’ve seen LGBT lobby and Rainbow Mafia thrown around too. Anything to dehumanize and attempt to paint us as some faceless and unreasonable oppressors.

That is the entire point of this, isn’t it? Allowing the Russian government to declare anyone who identifies as queer or even anyone who acknowledges the former’s existence as enemies of the state.

Those 100,000 soldiers for the summer offensive got to come from somewhere. To the penal battalion it is. Bring your own shovel, because there’s no guarantee you’ll get a rifle (I wish I was making this part up).

And a certain political party would accuse you of funding Russia if you gave $1 to a third party.

      Different players, same mindset…

Questioning is already prohibited in Russia, so it wasn’t necessary to ban again here.
