    Yes, this is a real photo I found from a North Korean propaganda website. Not sure what this is supposed to be honestly, other than a photo-op.

      Looks like a hot spring or bath house, but half the stools have their product sticker left on, that never appears to have gotten wet.

      This is most likely a communal bath common in many asian countries. I agree on the photo op though, this looks too meticulous. And they forgot to take of the stickers of those little stools, that makes it seems even less used.

    I’m sorry, am I misinterpreting this like crazy or are you supposed to shit in those larger, paler bowls? Because they don’t look big or stable enough to sit on, and I’m not sure if my instincts are way off or not.

      You fill those with water to pour on your head. It’s super nice and allows you to have different temperature water for your hair than the rest of your body.
