My Sacrifice by Creed is right in my range and that loooong “Agaiiiiiiiiiiiiin” sounds impressive while being easy to execute.

Angels by Robbie Williams is probably one of his easier ones.

Have You Ever Seen The Rain? By CCR is also fun and relatively easy to do.

And finally, if nobody else has done it yet, then “Wonderwall” :P

Why to which sentence? The first sentence is questionable in and of itself. But I guess the best answer is, “because I know all the words, and it’s fun to make anger noises.”

The second sentence could be questioned if someone were out of the loop. It’s because the herald of inclusivity literally signed off on a genocide. He’s voiced a number of odd opinions with flawed logic, but he preaches peace while signing missiles. And then went on hiatus because his fans think that calling for the end of a genocide is “free speech,” while he calls it “antisemitism,” and then he got booed for his awful opinion and refusal to value all human life.

It was for the second question. I like a lot of Disturbed’s music but don’t really follow the news about the band members. Thanks for linking to the news stories. That’s disgusting and disappointing.

Doesn’t matter. If I’m doing karaoke I will be so drunk I can’t follow the song or even read words.

I found out theres more words than the chorus in the song “Just a Friend “ while shitfaced drunk in front of the bar.

Northwest Passage by Stan Rodgers. Love his other stuff too. People are often surprised that I, an immigrant, know something so Canadian.

    “Bloodbuzz Ohio” -The National.
it’s short, sweet, a little sexy, I can do the voice, and I can remember the lyrics. Also, I live in Ohio. And it reminds me of my best friend, who passed away last year.

    Depends on the setting.

Nobody seems into it? Kiss from a rose- seal.

Need to set the bar? The Widow- Mars Volta

Classic crowd? Plush- Stone temple pilots

Easiest for my voice: There’s a reason these tables are numbered- Panic at the Disco

People are worried to be embarassed? Brand new key- Melanie

And on the occasion I want to make everyone laugh and impress them: It’s all coming back to me- Celine Dion.

I’m a large, traditionally masculine guy. It’s a lot more fun to subvert expectations.

Edit: forgot one. If I’m attempting to impress girls: Mon amant de saint-jean- Patrick Bruel

I used to love singing One Armed Scissor on Rock Band but I’ve never had the guts to try ATDI or Mars Volta in public.

      This is a phenomenal list.

If you or the host use Karafun, you can drop the key an octave when selecting. In which case Let It Go from Frozen is a solid crowd pleaser and might be in your range.

Good to know, although my range is unreasonably high for the way I look. While on the topic of tips to help with karaoke, if you have the option on your setup, or can ask the DJ to do so, add about 10-15% reverb to the microphone. It allows the singer to hear themselves and pitch correct on the fly.

      The Widow- Mars Volta

Surprised to see Mars Volta! It’s a little too high for my range to try it in public, but I could get down with Televators.

I warm up with either Mmm Mmm Mmm Mmm by Crash Test Dummies, or Collide by Howie Day. Once I’m warmed up I have a huge repertoire of songs. I don’t sing Meatloaf songs back to back anymore though. And Rob Zombie is only for Halloween.
