So let me get this straight. When you were spamming today, you saw one article that said the movie had been shelved, and another that said no actually it hadn’t. And then you posted both at the same fucking time.
yeah I dont know if it was or wasnt shelved. im just reporting the news
No, you’re bulk spamming random articles. This is not by any means “reporting”.
The community rules say “Do not spam.”
Spam is repeatedly posting unwanted or irrelevant content. Posting on-topic movie news articles from legitimate news outlets isn’t automatically spam just because you don’t like the volume or disagree with the editorial choices.
If you think a specific post violates the rules, explain how. Otherwise, “I don’t like that someone posts more than I do” isn’t the same thing as spam.
Personally, when I’m scrolling all and I see 10 posts from you in a row that are all just some random shit you didn’t even read, that’s unwanted.
That’s a preference, not a definition.
You don’t know whether I read the articles, and you’ve offered no evidence that I don’t. You’re just repeating it as if saying it enough makes it true.
As for “unwanted” - you finding something unwanted doesn’t make it spam. The community is for movie news, and the posts are on-topic movie news from legitimate sources. If the moderators decide my posting frequency violates the rules, that’s their call.
But “I personally don’t like seeing your posts” is an argument for using your filters or blocking my account, not for redefining the word “spam.”
just block me
Was garbage.
Good. I love the alien movies and setting, but that movie was total bullshit. Virtually all of it is nostalgia bait, like when the android quotes Ripley ("get away from her you bitch) and the crappy ai Ash remake.
Even the not very beloved prequels were more original and interesting.
I think people got a little too hung up on the references. I mean, I get it, it breaks the immersion of it’s constantly referencing other movies you know.
But if you look at the movie on its own terms, it’s a really nice Alien movie.
I liked the first half. Especially the idea of a quarantined lab in space divided in half. It wasn’t until the reintroduction of the android that it went off a cliff.
:(
